Following a tradition that dates back to the time of the Buddha over 2500 years ago, the teachings at Oregon Ariyamagga Okasati Refuge (OAOR) are given freely to those who seek them.
The Buddha created a system to develop a quality of openness whereby those who share the teachings are dependent on those who receive them. In the Theravadan tradition, support for monastic life has been entirely provided from lay supporters through daily acts of generosity. In this spirit, an interdependent relationship between lay community and the monastic sangha was born. Regular occurring donations are a helpful way to support OAOR. They help the monastics establish a budget and make more appropriate financial decisions. Automatic payments can be setup through PayPal (Credit Card), ACH/Direct Transfer, or Bill Pay.

Bill Pay (Monthly/Recurring)
Bill pay can be a convenient way to donate. No need to write a check or use your envelopes and stamps. Many financial institutions offer a Bill Pay service. This service is often free of charge. A payment can be sent to an individual or institution in the amount you indicate. Your bank mails a check to the payee in 4-7 days. You can create and maintain your payments in your online banking account. Recurring, automatic payments (monthly, quarterly, etc.) can also be established.
